Singapore education system, AEIS and places to study in Singapore, for international students.

AEIS / S-AEIS International students can seek admission to primary and secondary schools through the AEIS or S-AEIS Examinations. Admission through AEIS or S-AEIS is not guaranteed and is subject to your child's performance in the tests. If successful, placement will be based on the available vacancies in our schools and your declared residential area, where possible. AEIS

  • Applications for AEIS would be during the month of July.

  • Tests will be conducted in September.


  • Applications for the S-AEIS will start in early January.

  • Tests will be conducted in February.

​ The centralized admission tests will be conducted in English. Applicants should be familiar with the English and Mathematics syllabuses of the level preceding the one they are applying for. For example, if your child is sitting for the Primary 4 test, they should be familiar with the Primary 3 syllabus. ​ Your child should not be more than 2 years older than the appropriate age for that education level.
